I am originally from Hardass, Roundu, Gilgit-Baltistan—a place whose mountains, people, and realities have profoundly shaped my perspective. Growing up in this region, I witnessed two very different sides of Gilgit-Baltistan: its extraordinary potential and the barriers that prevent that potential from being fully realised. I saw the beauty that attracts travelers from around the world, the talent and resilience of local people, the dedication of small businesses, and the ambitions of young entrepreneurs. At the same time, I saw how difficult it can be for people to discover reliable services, promote their businesses, reach wider markets, and participate meaningfully in the digital economy. That contrast planted an idea in my mind: What if technology could become a bridge between the potential of Gilgit-Baltistan and the opportunities of the modern world? Rego emerged from that question. I wanted to create something built from the region, for the region, but with a vision far beyond the region. A platform that could empower a local business, simplify a traveler's journey, create opportunities for entrepreneurs, and make everyday services more accessible to communities. For me, Rego is more than a business venture. It is a belief that the next chapter of Gilgit-Baltistan can be written through innovation, technology, and the people who call this extraordinary land home. Rego is our attempt to turn challenges into opportunities, potential into progress, and Gilgit-Baltistan into a digitally connected destination for the world.

My vision for Rego extends beyond tourism. Our future plan is to develop Rego into a complete digital ecosystem for Gilgit-Baltistan through Rego Ride, Rego Delivery and Rego Buy & Sell.

These future services will help improve access to transportation, local delivery and digital commerce while creating new opportunities for drivers, businesses, entrepreneurs and communities throughout Gilgit-Baltistan.

The long-term goal is to contribute to the digital transformation of Gilgit-Baltistan by connecting tourism, mobility, delivery, commerce and other essential services through one trusted platform.

Through Rego, I aim to support local entrepreneurs, create employment opportunities, improve access to services and help connect Gilgit-Baltistan with the wider digital world.
